The opening day for the 3rd of September, 6:30pm, there will be an opening performance “The Moment” at the rooftop of Macau Art Garden. It is devised by J Lei, founding member of Comuna De Pedra, and a group of Comuna De Pedra members. Members from different eras, as sincere as before, will respond to our city and environment with their bodies. There will only be one performance. Price: MOP100 (50% off for students, elderly, physically and mentally challenged) . Please note that there are no elevators at the performance venue. “Reflections” A Dance Video Series

Choreographers from Comuna De Pedra will collaborate with Mike Ao Ieong, a local video artist to revisit selected themes/scenes/dance numbers from past works and recreate them into new dance videos.

“Pedra Anchorage – 20 years of Comuna de Pedra” Documentary Screening

“During these 20 years, what have you done? What do you remember and what have you forgotten about?”

During these 20 years of Macau, Comuna De Pedra has expressed sincerely through dance and the body. Since the establishment of the group, there has been an intimate relationship between the works of Comuna De Pedra and the society. “Time” has also shaped the uniqueness and changes of their performance pieces. This documentary has marked the 20th anniversary of Comuna De Pedra as a starting point, where it presents the dialogues and dance between the society and the dancers.

“Pedra Anchorage – 20 years of Comuna de Pedra” Publishing Talk “What the XX are the art groups doing here?”

Founding members, artists, theatre critics and cultural critics were invited to interviews to talk about the works of Comuna De Pedra through different eras and different angles. While this is a documentation of the development of Comuna De Pedra, it also documents the interrelation between Comuna de Pedra and the rapid change of Macau.
