Sculptural Works by Wu Hin Long: “My Hands Mould My Thoughts” is about to open!

 

Macau young artist Wu Hin Long will have his solo exhibition “My Hands Mould My Thoughts – Sculptural Works by Wu Hin Long” in AFA Macau at 6:30 p.m. on July 21 (Friday). This is the first solo exhibition for showing the achievement of Wu Hin Long after he was post graduated from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. A total of 15 sculptural works will be showcased, one of his works, the ‘Coral Series’ was selected for the 2nd China Contemporary Ceramic Art Exhibition, while the ‘Sweater Series’ was chosen as one of the ten best works in the Macao Annual Visual Arts Exhibition 2016.

 

My Hands Mould My Thoughts – Sculptural Works by Wu Hin Long

 

This solo exhibition shows Wu’s latest works, as well as those created over the past few years for the first time which is showcased in Macao. They reflect his emphasis going beyond clay, glaze and firing to the connotations and forms of his artworks. He has embodied modern thinking of sculpture production in irreproducible carving techniques and extraordinary ceramic modelling, which demonstrates his eternal passion in his art pursuits.

“My Hands Mould My Thoughts – Sculptural Works by Wu Hin Long” will be opened in AFA Macau at 6:30 p.m. on July 21 (Friday). It is taken place in the 1st Floor, Art Garden, Avenida Dr. Rodrigo Rodrigues N. 265, Macau, open from Tuesdays to Sundays (12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) and closed on Mondays and public holidays. The exhibition will be opened to public from July 22 to August 27.
